SERVICE - Manufacturers Limited Warranty

Champion ("Manufacturer") warrants to the Homeowner for one year that the new manufactured home purchased was manufactured free from substantial defects in materials and workmanship.

We understand that your new home is a major investment and we want to help you get the maximum enjoyment and benefit from it. That's why we've put together a Homeowner's Information Packet of several very important documents. Make sure that you've received all the documents listed below. that you've read and understand them, and that you store them in a safe place for future reference.

HOMEOWNER'S GUIDE, LIMITED WARRANTY & ARBITRATION AGREEMENT.

  • Describes important features of your home
  • Gives guidelines for continuous care and upkeep
  • Describes the details, use and limitations of the warranty
  • Explanation of how to obtain service if needed
  • Explanation of our minor & cosmetic defect policy
  • Points out important safety warning and other health and safety information

INSTALLATION MANUAL

  • Outlines minimum requirements for a proper supporting foundation
  • How to anchor your home
  • How to connect to the utilities

INSULATION INFORMATION SHEET

  • A statement on the amount if insulation provided with your home

APPLIANCE WARRANTY AND USE-AND-CARE BOOKLETS

  • These are provided for, and usually with, the major appliances

30 DAY SATISFACTION INSPECTION SHEETS

  • To help you identify minor and cosmetic defects

3-PART HOMEOWNER INFORMATION CARD

  • Once completed and returned to Champion, identifies you as the homeowner

TO OBTAIN FACTORY WARRANTY SERVICE

  • Evaluate the service item and determine if the item is covered by the manufacturer's warranty
  • Check the Trouble Shooting Guide in the back of the Homeowner's Maintenance Guide to
    see if item can be resolved by you, the Homeowner
  • Apply for service and Warranty work through your retailer
  • Identify the specific problem, the serial number and purchase date of your home, your address and telephone number where you can be contacted
  • If' you efforts to obtain service through your retailer have not been successful, contact the Manufacturer directly in writing
